Highmike's FS Adventure
Digital Aviation

Digital Aviation is another developer with a well earned reputation. I'm not a big fan of GA aircraft but their Piper Cheyenne is well worth getting. The Cheyenne has one of the best looking cockpits you'll see in FS.

I've also got their Dornier Do-27 which is a stick and rudder bird. It takes a bit of effort to get from A to B, but it is faithfully modelled and a credit to them.

You'll find them online here.

I've been flying the Cheyenne for several years now, but I keep coming back to it because it's such a pleasure to fly. The cockpit is pretty special, and the engine sounds are just perfect. What a nice looking aircraft too. I think DA are on to a winner.

The cockpit is pretty busy, but there's nothing out of place there. The GPS is not fully functional which means you have to import a flight plan from the FSX default flight planner, but that's okay!

The Dornier comes equiped with a full set of camping gear because it's a real bush plane. It won't get high into mountain country, but there's still plenty of places to go.

You get a nice view of the landscape from the cockpit of the Do-27. It's a bit cramped in there, but with a view like that who needs to be comfortable?
